National Grid is inviting communities across Suffolk and Essex to share their views on how a £4.2 million community benefit fund should be used to deliver long-term local improvements.
The funding forms part of the Bramford to Twinstead Reinforcement project, a key element of The Great Grid Upgrade to support the transition to cleaner, more secure energy.
Development consent for the project was granted by the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero in September 2024.
Residents, community groups and organisations are being asked to take part in a survey to help shape priorities for the fund, which could include investment in skills, green spaces, health and wellbeing initiatives and community facilities.
