OVO has launched Charge Anytime, the UK’s first EV charging subscription that covers both home and public charging for a single fixed monthly price.
The Standard plan starts at £27.50 a month, saving EV drivers £340 per year, while the Premium plan costs £37.50 a month, offering savings of up to £460.
The launch comes as research from OVO shows that 49% of Brits want to go electric for their next car and 61% are more likely to opt for an EV than they were five years ago.
However, 79% of current EV drivers report that charging is overly complicated, citing differences between home and public charging costs, confusing technology setups and variable unit rates.
The Standard plan provides 700 miles of smart home charging per month, public charging vouchers for use across 400,000 chargers in the UK and Europe and insurance cover for accidental damage, theft, or vandalism.
The Premium plan includes 1,000 miles per month, additional EV insights from ClearWatt, an annual battery health check and a 15% discount on KwikFit Club tyres.
Both plans offer flexibility with no long-term contracts and multi-car options for households with more than one EV.

Since launching Charge Anytime, OVO customers have saved over £25 million on EV charging and contributed to smarter electricity grid usage by charging during periods of low demand when renewable energy is abundant.
For drivers with lighter mileage needs, OVO also offers a Charge Anytime pay-as-you-go option with discounted rates of 14p per kWh.
The Charge Anytime monthly plans officially launch on 4 November 2025.
